Have you ever given someone a hamper and wished someone would send you one for a change? Well now’s your chance to win one. THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED.

We’ve teamed up with the stylish Harvey Nichols to offer you their unique Crowd Pleaser hamper* full of delicious goodies for you to enjoy over the Christmas period. (*though don't feel obliged to share if you don't want to)

It includes TWO bottles of Harvey Nichols champagne, a bottle of HN gin, a bottle of port and all sorts of sweet and savoury treats to snack on (listed below)

All you have to do to enter the competition is register on the site (and subscribe, if you like, to our free monthly newsletter)

Given the nature of the prize, you must be 18 or over to enter.

The closing date for the competition is 11.59pm GMT on Sunday December 3rd 2017. For other terms and conditions see below.

Terms & conditions:

1. This prize draw is open to all subscribers of 18 or over based in the UK or Ireland other than freelances or contractors employed by matchingfoodandwine.com or Harvey Nichols, their respective families and agents or anyone directly connected to the prize draw

2. No purchase is necessary. You simply need to have registered on the site and subscribe to the mailing list.

3. Entries submitted through third parties or agents will not be eligible.

4. The prize consists of The Crowd Pleaser Hamper mentioned above. Total value: £300. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered

5. The closing date for entry to the draw is 11.59pm GMT on Sunday December 3rd 2017. The winner will be drawn at random from the subscriber database by matchingfoodandwine by Friday 8th December, 2017 and will be notified by e-mail.

6. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The winner’s surname and county of residence will be made available by sending an email to competitions@matchingfoodandwine.com after December 31st, 2017

I would love to be able to share this with my carers - my daughter who makes sure I am up & about & takes me to some of my many & varied drs/hospital appointments even tho she has 4 young children, 2 of whom are autistic. Also my daughter in-law who despite being a mum to a 2¹/² yr old little boy, heavily pregnant with twin boys, & working a stressful full time job for the civil service, manages to fit in taking me to some of my appointments & generally making sure I'm ok. You see, I have various auto immune disorders & a brain injury on top as a result of meningitis & need lots of help with lots of things. To be able to share this hamper with them both (and the hubbies) would be truly wonderful, a real treat very much deserved.
