Satisfyingly hearty, sweet-flavoured leek and potato soup with exemplary soda bread at @hugh__corcoran’s highly controversial The Yellow Bittern yesterday. Why controversial? Because Corcoran says -despite only opening at lunchtime and only taking cash - diners don’t spend enough.
